Making Sense of the Universe...
I'd been wanting to do something
with the I Ching for a long time. Here are some screen shots of a
little game I did in VB a few years ago. The time spent on the program
flow, screen form elements and graphics paled in comparison with the effort
put into the definitions and structure behind the "pseudo-haiku" poetry -- and
those string routines don't even have anything to do with the game play -- the
text is just there for "word candy"! Anyway, I did like the idea of the
popup "e-worksheet". You can't really succeed in the game without
tracking the results of your exchange transactions very, very carefully.
